This page provides instructions on how to request the deletion of your account and associated data for the AI OCR Image Text Scanner mobile application, developed by TechAppDev LLP.
How to Request Account Deletion:
To request the deletion of your account and associated data, please send an email to our support team at:

Please include the following information in your email:
- Subject Line: “Account Deletion Request – AI OCR Image Text Scanner”
- Email Body: Clearly state that you wish to delete your account. Please send the request from the email address associated with the Google account you used to sign in to the AI OCR Scanner app. This helps us verify your identity.
What Happens When Your Account is Deleted:
Upon receiving and verifying your deletion request, we will proceed with the following:
- Data Deleted: We will delete the link between your Google Sign-In identity and our app. This includes deleting any basic profile information (such as your name and email address obtained during Google Sign-In) that we may store on our systems solely for the purpose of identifying your account within our app.
- Data Not Deleted:
- Your Google Account: Deleting your account within our app does not delete your actual Google account.
- Locally Stored PDFs: Any PDF documents you generated using the app and saved directly to your device’s local storage will not be deleted by us, as we do not have access to your device’s local files. You are responsible for managing files saved locally on your device.
- Data Processed by Google Gemini: Images sent to Google’s Gemini API for OCR processing are handled according to Google’s privacy policies and terms. We do not retain these images on our servers after processing. Deleting your app account does not remove data processed by Google as part of the OCR service.
Processing Time:
We aim to process account deletion requests within 30 days of receiving a verifiable request. We will notify you via email once the deletion process is complete.
